One of my rules to live by is that you never ask a woman if she's pregnant unless she's on the L&D table and fully dialated. I'm even hesitant to offer my seat on the subway to pregnant women in case I'm wrong. It can be hard to tell with the flowy tunics that are in style. People just don't think. It's interesting how chinese people will intervene about stupid things like a baby not wearing enough layers (in their opinion,) but when someone is bleeding to death on the street, they won't even call an ambulance.
OMG, you read my mind. Seriously, people here have come running out of nowhere to nosily butt in and tell us that our child is not dressed warmly enough. This has happened with both kids. But it was worse for Raelynn. Once when she was very small, a man ran up to me in a panic because she was not wearing shoes. She was about 4 months old and in a carrier, with 2 pairs of thick socks on her feet. She doesn't need shoes! She's not walking! Idiot. Insane that they will come interfere for this but if someone is hurt or needs help, they do nothing. I cannot wait to move.
